About The Kolej Hostivar

Kolej Hostivar is a twenty five bedroom hostel in Prague. Comfortable rooms each with private ensuites make this hostel a popular choice. With a tram stop within five minutes walk the hostel is well linked with transport, but it is a significant distance from the centre of Prague.

All of the rooms come with their own private ensuite. Guests of the hostel are provided with free linen and bath towels. The rooms do not have their own kitchen facilities, but their is a shared kitchen. You can also access Wi-fi for free in the room. One thing to note is that the hostel only accepts card payments from Monday to Friday between 7.30am to 4pm. At other times you will need to make payment in cash. However there is ATM in the lobby which can be accessed twenty four hours a day.

Getting to the Kolej Hostivar is fairly easy. As noted above there is a tram stop within five minutes walk. The closest bus stop is Nadrazi Hostivar which is only two hundred meters from it. If you are travelling to the hostel by car you are able to park your vehicle at the hostel for free.

Kolej Hostivar hostel is not the most centrally located place to stay in Prague. It is approximately forty five minutes from the hostel to the centre of Prague. The hostel is located near to the scenic park Hostivar. Wenceslas Square and the National Museum are approximately 6.7 kilometres from the Hostel.

There are a number of dining, eating and drinking options for guests located near to the hostel. The Albert supermarket is within 300 yards of the hostel. The Restaurance Harmony, Hole in One and U Milinonu restaurants are all similarly located nearby. If you are looking for something more casual the Koala Cafe is a short walking distance from the hostel.

Approximately 4 miles from the hostel is the landmark 02 Arena. Prague Castle is about 6.6 miles from the building. If you want to do some shopping while in Prague the Hostivar shopping centre is one mile from the hostel. The Chodov shopping center is a little further at 2.6 miles from the hostel. Kolej Hostivar is not the best option for people who want to stay in the heart of Prague. However, it is a good option if you are looking for private and comfortable accommodation at budget prices. It is particularly suited to travellers who are arriving in Prague by car, due to the free parking available.
